However, for die hard fashionistas like myself, that crunchy brown leaf signifies a joyous occasion: the commencement of a new season in fashion. Yes ladies and gentleman, it is time to empty the wallet and hit the stores. In light of this festive occasion, I have created a head-to-toe guide on this seasons trendiest accessories, a must have in order to spice up everyday outfits on a student budget.

In terms of jewelry, think chunky. Thick multi-colored or earth toned bangle sets will add a touch of flair to your outfits. A chunky ring on your middle finger will add a classic touch, and a multi-stringed necklace adorned with colorful stones will add color to a plain tee or a solid colored button down shirt. Men; keep your jewelry simple. Leather wrist bands will bring edge to everyday attire, and a classic silver chain with a metal tag will add a sexy touch, perfect for a “dress to impress” outfit.

This season, belts that cinch at the waist are once again at the top of the line in terms of fashion. This season, pleated and ruched shoes will make an appearance. Ankle boots will once again be worn by the hundreds and embellished ballet flats will add just the right amount of femininity to any outfit. In terms of ladies footwear, two fashion trends will stand out. With regards to color, the sky is the limit. Make use of hot pink, yellow, red or electric blue. A flair of color can bring the basic, all-black outfit to life and add a little personality to your wardrobe.
